Maja Penava

Maja Penava (1967) from Doboj, Bosnia and Hercegovina a graduate from College of Education, and since 2000 she has been exploring color and shape of the world in which we live, searching with the lens photographic camera and photo editing for details of the human soul in this world. Man's thoughts and feelings sparks to many of her paintings on canvas, paper and similar materials , which is achieved very careful interventions in the colors and composition of the picture. Old towns, medieval fortresses, but also a modern urban environment, as well as the hidden meaning of sea, are the motives of hers artistic preoccupations.
